"Brian Duncan of Bridun Physiotherapy provides the following services for Shell Exploration & Production UK / Ireland:

Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessment Workshops:
The one day course is designed to train nominated focal points for onshore offices, gas plants and offshore instillations as Display Screen Equipment Assessors. The course covers the Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 & associated ammendments; Health Implications; DSE Ergonomics, Shell company risk assessment procedure & practical computer workstation assessments.

Workstation Health Presentations & Workstation Assessments:
The presentations focuses on the prevention of Repetitive Strain Injury & is delivered for individuals / groups who use computers for intense periods of time. The risk assessments and advised remedial action is documented & a report forwarded to the respective company representative.

Individual Risk Assessments / Absence Case Management:
Individual assessments are carried out for individuals with identified musculo/skeletal disorders who are referred by the Occupational Health Physician or self-referred; The risk assessment is conducted at the individuals workstation which can be either in the office workplace , or in the home in working from home. A report with a remedial rehabilitation plan is forwarded to the company occupational health department. "
